Mailantis is a European email security platform based in Linz, Austria. We build what DACH companies actually need, GDPR-first, bilingual EN/DE, without US cloud risk.

Why we built Mailantis

GDPR pressure grows, US tools don't deliver. In 2026, DMARC, SPF and DKIM monitoring is no longer a nice-to-have. NIS2, BSI TR-03108 and DORA require active protection against spoofing, but the solutions on the market are US-hosted, English-only and tailored to enterprise giants.

Fragmented tools, separate logins. Properly monitoring DMARC, SPF, DKIM, BIMI, MTA-STS and S/MIME today means five to seven vendors. Each with its own invoice, support, and learning curve. We wanted one platform, all email authentication standards in one place.

MSPs are an afterthought. In the DACH region, MSPs manage a large share of SMB IT. Yet hardly any email security platform is properly multi-tenant, white-label, sub-org management, consolidated invoicing. Mailantis was built MSP-first from day one.

Founder story

How I got into email security.

Seven years ago, while writing my diploma thesis, I came across SPF, DKIM and DMARC for the first time. I was building a multi-domain mail server back then, which forced me to study these standards in depth, what sounds like a dry technical exercise is in fact the difference between landing in the inbox and landing in spam.

This year I analysed 13,000 companies in Austria for their DMARC configuration. The result was sobering:

The remaining ~92 % are exposed, to spoofing, brand impersonation and phishing campaigns sent in their own name. Mailantis is my answer: a tool that walks companies step by step from p=none to p=reject without breaking legitimate mail flow.

I want to help Austrian and DACH businesses deliver their mail securely, pragmatic, German-speaking when needed, without US-cloud risk.
