Important: BIMI only takes effect if your domain already has a DMARC policy of p=quarantine or stricter. Mailantis checks this before activation.

BIMI is a standalone service — not part of the Monitoring subscription. Each brand needs its own VMC certificate (Sectigo/DigiCert); Mailantis handles ordering, SVG validation and hosting. Concrete quote depends on brand scope, number of domains and setup specifics.

Common questions about BIMI
Do I need a VMC certificate?
For Gmail and Yahoo: yes. Apple Mail and some providers display BIMI even without a VMC. Since Gmail has the largest share in the DACH region, a VMC is practically required for any visible effect.
What does a VMC cost?
VMCs are issued by DigiCert and Entrust — typically €1,200–1,800/year. Through Mailantis you get reseller-conditioned prices; concrete quotes in the account area after brand check.
Which mail providers show BIMI?
Gmail (with VMC), Yahoo Mail (with VMC), Apple Mail (with or without VMC), Fastmail. Outlook.com plans support but hasn't rolled it out yet. We actively maintain roadmap updates.
My SVG is being rejected — why?
BIMI requires SVG Tiny PS 1.2 — a restricted subset without animations, external references, or JavaScript. Mailantis validates your SVG and delivers concrete correction hints.
How long does VMC issuance take?
Typically 5–15 business days, since DigiCert/Entrust verify the trademark rights to your logo (registered mark, word mark). Mailantis prepares the documentation for you.
